Lily at Balboa Island

Spent my birthday weekend in Huntington Beach with my bestest buddy. We went to Balboa Island where the gorgeous homes there always have something to photograph. Here's a lily that we spent about 30 minutes taking tons of shots. I did some different coloring and these are my results. More birthday photos later.....

Inspirations

I love when creative people can get inspired from eachother. Thank you Mickie for enjoying my photography enough to let your creative juices flow.
The following photo I captured at a Farmers market in Irvine, Ca.
Looks great on Canvas! Or inspiration for an oil painting done by Mickie Aragon.
Very talented Mickie!

Jacobs poetry

Jacobs english teacher entered his poem into a contest, and his poem was selected to be published. His poem will be published in the fall 2009 hardbound anthology A Celebration of Poets. All students in the class were inspired by M.C. Escher's Relativity.
The four corners of the world,
In their good times and bad times,
The relativity of us all,
In the game of survival on planet Earth,
Fighting
Loving,
Killing,
Caring,
The human beings not paying attention or giving respect to others,
And the ones that do give respect and care are not seen hidden in time,
But we are all related in some way.
Jacob Kovacevich, Grade 7
Tenaya Middle School, Ca.
