Hummer

Moms house always has hummingbirds at her feeder, but everytime I pull out my camera they fly away and I don't capture them feeding. Well they finally gave me a break and when I pulled out the camera they stayed around for alittle photo session. The scarlett hummer was so bright, it looks photoshopped, it's not.

Wedding Weekend in Pismo

Spent Mar 12-14th in Pismo Beach shooting a wedding. My girlfriend Teresa was my there to assist me in the shoot and got some great shots too! Our daughters joined us and made it an all girl weekend. After the stress of the afternoon wedding, us girls hit the beach. With our cameras in tow we took pictures of our girls. Teresa and Lauren went to SLO to a music concert a family member was playing in, Kaylor and I went to dinner then crawed into bed at 8:30. We were pooped!! Awoke at 10:15 p.m. and the girls still weren't back yet, fell back asleep and woke at 1:15a.m. THEY WEREN'T back YET!! Like a mom I started to worry within 5 minutes they were walking in the door. We spent Sunday down at the pier with lunch at Splash and alittle siesta on the beach. Had a great time!!

Sunday in the Wildflowers and Blossom Trail

Cindy and I waited until the clouds cleared and headed east to the foothills. Our photographic juices were flowing for 5 hours. Lots of poppies with purple lupines, the colors were just gorgeous. On the Blossom trail the rain had knocked alot of bloosoms to the ground, but we never pass up a photo op. Lots of busy bees with pollen on the legs, looked like saddle bags.
Weekend of the 6th of March, I'm sure the hills will be covered in orange poppies.
